We love Mentimeter, but it seems to be a challenge for people participating in community meetings on their smartphones cause they have to switch back and forth between Zoom and Mentimeter. We are trying to find a solution for that.

Is Park Listeners a program of the city or a stand alone organization?

What platforms/methods did you use for surveying?

Do park listeners have the flexibility to go out for observations and collect surveys when they can? Or is there an hours per week minimum or anything like that?

I'd love to hear more about what the training the Park Listeners went through to be part of this program!

To confirm: Chattanooga did this to get info about a particular park project? or was it a more broad effort? What was the rough budget established for TPL?

Will the city continue to employ the same park listeners to establish consistency and maintain/develop the bonds that they've made with the community? Would the city consider hiring out-right in the future?

How were you all selected for the program? Or was it something that you all applied for?

Would this type of service be available for other (non-park) types of planning efforts? For example, an Arts and Culture Planning effort?

The city paid TPL for this program and TPL did all the administration/training/recruitment/supervision of the Park Listeners.
