How long did SD take to perform the MP process in full?

52:49
for Jonathan - how did you determine the weight of points for each type of amenity?

54:29
for jonathan, after creating your new standard, do you also utilize TPL's parkscore to compare vs your internal score?

55:56
For Jonathan- Did moving away from a land standard (the 2.8 acres/pop) require any muni code/charter and/or general plan, etc. changes/amendments beyond the adoption of the Master Plan? What did that entail?

56:02
you did not include pools?

I second Nick's question for Jonathan! Love the plan but never figured it out how points were assigned, was any type of community engagement results considered to assign the points for each amenity. Seeing Portland's geographic LOS and how they considered comm feedback to determine the distance to different amenities, I was wondering if your process was similar.

In the San Diego example, how does the 100 point system translate to developer contribution? Do developers continue to pay for land and park improvements and how does that work?

01:07:45
Raymond, yes we had to change the General Plan and the muni code. We brought those forward with the Parks Master Plan in 2021.
